About Us
The Metropolitan Washington Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors (MWPHCC) is the oldest trade association in the United States and was founded in 1873. For over 140 years we have worked hard to provide education, training and the advancement of the plumbing, heating and cooling to local contractors and professionals.
We work hard to provide quality training, networking opportunities and many benefits to our members. Our chapter meets nine times per year and provides free training at each meeting in addition to great business networking opportunities. Our members learn tremendous amounts from their colleagues at the meetings. We also have many social events and opportunities throughout the year (fishing trip, golf tournament, and family baseball outing, etc) as well as community service opportunities and showcasing the plumbing industry to the public.
Membership also includes belonging to the PHCC National Association which also offers countless benefits. They offer over 250 education and training options and online training for business owners and their employees. They have a government relations Director that works hard to ensure that your interests are protected on the state, local and national levels. They provide unlimited free technical support and you can save up to 50% on some of your business expenses by using their preferred service providers.
